Your profile holds the information MLH and connected apps use. Edit it from your account settings on my.mlh.io. To save changes, you enter your current password at the bottom of the form.

- First name and Last name
- Email — changing it requires confirming the new address (see Account security)
- Phone number
- Avatar — shown from Gravatar based on your email
- Notify me about upcoming events & news — your email opt-in
Demographics
- Date of birth
- Gender — Female, Male, Non-Binary, I prefer not to say, or Other
Education or work
First choose whether you're a current student, a working professional, or none of the above. The rest of the section changes to match:
If you're a student:
- School (with suggestions as you type)
- Major (with suggestions)
- Level of study — from primary school through university (undergraduate, master's/doctoral), vocational/code school, and more
If you're a working professional:
- Company name
- Company title
