Check in
Checking in confirms you actually attended the event. You need to be registered first.
How to check in
If the event allows self check-in, open the event page during the event and select Check in. Depending on the event, check-in may open a few hours before the start time.
If self check-in isn't available, an organizer checks you in.
Why it matters
Only checked-in attendees count toward the event — and for Global Hack Week, checking in to mini events is part of earning bonus swag.
